Summer time for me is the time to unpack my camera gear and get some shots. This weekend I went to Union City Civic Center where there is a pond the ducks and turtles love to hang out. Utilizing my classic Canon F1 and Tokina 150-500mm f/5.6 AT-X SD Telephoto Zoom Lens, I took the following pictures.

One of the-must-have-items for summers is sunglasses! I've never meant to collect sunglasses but I swear I was surprised myself when I found that I had more than 2 dozens of them!

We found that out last year, when we were moving from SF to EB, we had a hard time finding a decent space for my sunglasses! I did not realize that I had that many! All stuffs were neatly packed in boxes, except for my sunglasses. So we had to buy another box just for the sunglasses I had...but still I found 5 of them -which were my fave- broke

I had no idea when I started collecting them, but I remember that I started wearing sunglasses in regular basis when we were in Alaska. For some reasons, I needed sunglasses there, I needed them so bad! Don't know why but to me everything there seemed sooo "silau, man!" . It was probably because of the bright sun lights touched the snowy mountain flared my visions? who knows? All I know is that ever since then, sunglasses are my 'can't-live-without-it' item, my husband and my friends even made fun of it some times...oh well 

Jangan diketawain ya, sumpah deh ini adalah kali pertama gue baca novel-nya Dean Koontz. Biasanya cuma baca buku2nya Stephen King or Mary Higgins Clark. Walaupun novel yang gue baca sekarang ini (Mr. Murder) bukan karya terbaiknya, tapi ternyata asik juga baca karangannya. Rada2 gibberish sih tapi lumayan descriptive dan enggak segila Stephen King. Don't get me wrong, I love Stephen King.

Baru pulang dari rumah mertua, bantuin ngepak barang2 yang mo dipindahin dari Castro Valley ke Napa...sampe rumah gue capek banget. Sambil chatting sama Mpok Nunu, gue iseng ngikutin quiz ini Where Does Your Beauty Lie? by Quizilla ....hehehe...super duper iseng aja. Enggak dianggap serius...ini lho hasilnya: 

Finally, I'm back to my virtual world! Thanks to those who visited my blog even when I was not there...I miss you guys so much. Saking kelamaan enggak nge-blog, aku sampe lupa username + password pas mau login . Nyoba login sampe 7 kali, akhirnya bisa juga euy 

Well, sebenernya aku tuh sengaja enggak apdet blog selama 1 bulan karena aku pikir June is a special month for me, for us to be exact, jadi aku bikin satu bulan penuh untuk anniversary blog, including the layout...gitu lho. Makanya seneng banget kalian masih mampir walaupun enggak ada apdet....so thanks to all of you!

Anyway, I'm back with something that I have promised you last month: my complete wedding pictures! It was harder than I thought to sort images from hundreds, scanned, edited and put them together in an album. But it worked out alright, I guess. I put them together in chronological order, so those who are not familiar with Indonesian traditional wedding know how it works.
